What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Worker - Summer Help position at PROAMPAC?
Summer Help Needed - As summer steadily approaches, ProAmpac is seeking summer helpers to work in manufacturing, production, and administration.
These would be primarily working day shift hours on 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts. This may include weekend hours.
Essential duties and tasks: To perform these jobs successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made, upon request, to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Meets Quality expectations by correcting defects in a timely manner.
- Reads customer orders and makes necessary corrections and notify operator if non-conforming material is produced.
- Operates core cutter.
- Machine Maintenance.
- May occasionally use forklift/roll clamp to transport product.
- Ability to fill in for Operator job when necessary.
- Packages/wraps finished rolls.
- Monitors viscosities and completes PH forms.
- Finds ink on specification sheet and disperses.
- All other duties as assigned.

The employee must frequently position or move up to 25 - 50 pounds. Lifting or moving items weighing greater than 50 pounds requires the use of lifting equipment or co-worker assistance.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus as well as ability to see appropriate colors.
