Responsibilities:
As an SLP in our school district, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students from PreK to 12th grade.
- Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs and goals.
- Providing evidence-based therapy interventions to address speech and language challenges effectively.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and ensure a cohesive support system.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Nevada.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred but not mandatory for entry-level SLPs.
- Experience working with pediatric populations and diverse caseloads (PreK-12th grade) is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
