Risk Security Consultant
On behalf of our client in the Financial Services Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Risk Security Consultant.
Risk Security Consultant – Job Description
- Process & Routine development: Support Enterprise Operations & Technology (EO&T) in developing and establishing standards for consistent management of Enterprise MCA Profile (EMP)/Standard MCA Profile (SMP) owned and adopted
- Support EO&T in developing procedures and routines to drive consistency and effectiveness across key risk and controls in the L1 space
- Quality Control: Work with EMP/SMP Owners and L1 Risk SME to identify and resolve Activity Risk Control Monitoring (ARCM) deficiencies
- Work with Reporting lead to design reports to monitor quality
Risk Security Consultant – Mandatory Skills
- Ability to use data to identify errors and inconsistencies across Level 1 (L1) Risk ARCMs
- Ability to identify critical metrics to measure and work with reporting SME to establish quality reporting
- Analysis: Analyze ARCMS, issues and ops losses associated with L1 Risk and identify opportunities to strengthen Controls or EMP/SMP creation or automation.
- Ability to analyze data and synthesize results for leadership action
- Risk & control experience specifically in financial services
- Familiar with Operational Risk Management (ORM) Risk policies, procedures and standards and overall MCA program
- ARCM Rewriting: Work with EMP/SMP owners, L1 Risk Subject Matter Experts (SME)s and Assessment Unit (AU) Owners to rewrite ARCMs to new L1 Risk Control Requirements
- ARCM writing skills to meet Control Standards and L1 Risk Control Requirements
- Project Management: Lead initiatives for the EMP/SMP creation/ deployment and L1 Risk control requirement adherence
- Identify opportunities for MCA process automation including controls and monitoring. Provide project updates for EO&T leadership: Communication/Proven ability to collaborate with and lead cross-functional teams
- Detail oriented with strong organization and project management skills
- Able to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively
- Situational awareness to identify when escalation is appropriate
- Strong relationship management skills & ability to explore alternatives and positions to reach outcomes that are supported and accepted by various parties
- Communication/Socialization: Work with the EMP / SMP owners and AU Architect/Delegate to drive the successful implementation of EMP/SMP and L1 Risk process modifications
- Influencing and negotiation skills
- Drive accountability with key business partners
- Provide training, coaching and encouragement to teams adopting new methods
- Familiarization with O&T processes and activities
- Navigate the EO&T businesses
- Previous experiences and knowledge with Operations and Technology processes and activities
- For L1 Risk: Preferably deep knowledge in the L1 Risk areas: Processing, Cyber (incl info sec), Physical Damage, Technology, and Third Party
- Bachelors, University Degree or higher
