Were currently looking for a mid-level QA manager to work within our Oral Care organization located outside Cincinnati, Ohio at our Mason Business Center. Initiatives include cost saving projects to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, corporate QA policies/SOPs, and current Good Manufacturing Practices. This position is responsible for building QA mastery and expertise to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements. Trains and coaches site and system leaders on corporate, sector/BU and regulatory requirements. Facilitates and enables partnerships with appropriate functions e.g., Engineering, Market, R&D, etc. to implement effective work processes, eliminate losses and reduce risk.
Qualifications
- Qualification 1: Ideal candidate would have experience in quality systems and regulated businesses for Drug, Cosmetics or Medical Device regulations - ISO and/or FDA
- Qualification 2: Familiar with manufacturing operations is preferred.Science background is preferred(degrees in Chemistry, Biology / Microbiology, Engineering, Pharmacy and / or related academic disciplines)
- Qualification 3: 2-5 years of relevant work experience in QA, QC, or Quality Engineering related roles
- Qualification 4: Demonstrated ability to build diverse, collaborative relationships. Capability to develop people and sustain organizational competence and results. Demonstrated strong internal and external collaboration and communication skills.
- Qualification 5: Knowledge and application of base QA systems, consumer complaints, document control and technical standards within a regulated environment. Working knowledge of microbiology and analytical labs, methods, and practices. Working knowledge of supplier quality systems such as material qualification, QATA, and supplier auditing.
- Qualification 4: Operates with discipline, embraces change. Has a focus on business objectives, able to prioritize, follow up and deliver results. Able to generate and use data to drive action within the organization.
- Qualification 5: Proven ability in risk assessment and management, including risk identification tools and communication processes. Uses data and experience to understand and quantify the risks. Understands the relationship between individual, work group, team or sub functional actions/decisions and the consequences to quality, compliance and/or the business. Makes recommendations of actions steps to deal with risks.
