Procurement Partners/ Hybrent Pay Leader
Responsibilities
- Build Payments business from scratch, leveraging research done by Procurement Partners/ Hybrent to build, pilot, learn and scale this product.
- Oversee P&L for the Payments business as the product is built and scaled.
- Determine pricing for payment functionality and features.[NG1]
- Work with product management and development groups for new features/ functionality needed to support payments.
- Provide direction and leadership toward the achievement of the organization's philosophy, mission, strategy, and its annual goals and objectives
- Develop annual revenue, capital and expense budgets.
- Analyze Payments transaction volume to identify solutions to increase overall adoption and usage to achieve revenue targets.
- Select, negotiate with, and manage payment partners and vendors – maintain existing partnerships and forge new relationships
- Enable suppliers to accept Procurement Partners/ Hybrent Payments and utilize the platform
- Oversee quality assurance processes designed to certify all customers receive the highest level of service to achieve success.
- Oversees design, marketing, promotion, delivery and quality of programs, products and services.
- Recommend yearly budget for Board approval and prudently manage resources within those budget guidelines.
- Define policies and procedures governing daily operations.
- Negotiate contracts with key suppliers/vendors.
- Liaise between internal departments to ensure that all contracts and agreements are in sync with corporate goals and objectives.
- Assure the Payments team and its mission, programs, products and services are consistently presented in a strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in the evaluation, analysis, and integration of acquisitions other new businesses/products into the organization.
- Attend various industry conferences as a representative of the company and its strategy.
- Develop financial analysis including financial and operating models, scenarios of projected performance, and financial statement analysis.
- Manages the payment sales pipeline for each of the vertical market segments[NG2] .
- Works with Sales, Customer Success, Account Management on identifying initial set of customers for beta testing as well as early adopters.
- Create a sales playbook to sell payments to new and existing customers.
- Communicate directly with C-level executives and owners; as well as all levels of our internal team.
- Work tirelessly to hear customers’ voices - work in pursuit of ever-improving measures of customer happiness and loyalty.
Qualifications
- 10 years of business experience with exposure to payments, business development, product and general management
- Robust B2B payments experience and virtual card experience
- Track record of being entrepreneurial, creating something from nothing
- Strong ability to establish B2B relationships and manage suppliers who will benefit from Procurement Partners/ Hybrent Payments
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; MBA a plus
- Existing relationships within the payment’s ecosystem a plus
- Demonstrated leadership in payments
- Good understanding of core web technologies, both client and server side
- Excellent management and leadership skills
- Strong communication, presentation, and client-facing skills
- Ability to recruit, hire and develop talent as required and as the Payments team expands to support the business
- Ability to manage budget and make smart financial decisions to drive the greatest return for the company
- Hands on leader who can pitch in to make the product and financial goals happen alongside teammates
