Material Coordinator II
Fargo, North Dakota - Full Time
Productive Resources (www.productiveresources.com) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at our customer's facility in Fargo, North Dakota. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will coordinate the flow of materials in multiple departments of the factory, which may include shipping and receiving. Ensure that the production personnel have the parts they need in order to produce the desired product(s). Oversee and ensure that the inventory is correct and on time and identifies problems and makes suggestions involving production schedules. Coordinate the activities for the tactical execution of a production plan within the factory. Works in larger and broader groups. May supervise or provide work direction to hourly material handlers, stock chasers, or truckers.
This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.
Duties:
- Support Proto Build Coordinator with the investigation and follow-up of shortages on Prototypes by focusing on shortages and working with the appropriate buyer to ensure parts are prior to the prototype build. Will follow up and track shortages till issued to the job.
- Will have daily use in E10 our ERP System.
- Agile PLM system - BOM, change orders.
- Support the PMO group with various administrative duties.
- Assists prepare packages for shipment in a timely manner as requested.
- Complete daily reporting and other duties as assigned.
- Learn, apply, and recommend policies and practices that facilitate prototypes and Limited Production Builds through the production floor.
- Provide timely communication and correspondence with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Build trust and respect of colleagues and stakeholders by consistently executing on responsibilities.
- Must be able to occasionally commute between John Deere Facilities in Fargo, North Dakota.
Requirements:
- Ability to work hours of first shift - Monday-Friday 8-5.
- Background in excel.
- BA or equivalent experience in Data Analytics/Business background.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI).
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Team oriented.
- Highly organized.
- Process minded.
Preferred Skills:
- Power BI experience.
