Machine Maintenance Lead
Productivity’s Machinesused.com division helps manufacturing customers throughout the United States buy, sell, consign, trade, liquidate, and auction used CNC machine tools and related shop and manufacturing equipment.
We are looking for a talented industrial maintenance professional to help evaluate and repair equipment and direct the day-to-day activities in our used equipment showroom.
- $38 - $44/hour – plus incentives - annual performance & salary reviews
- Full-time - 40 hours/week - Monday - Friday - 7 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities
- Supervise Showroom: Work with and direct staff to organize machines, tools, and equipment in the showroom so that the inventory for sale is presented in the best possible way.
- Machine Repair: Supervise staff, repair, train, and assist in repairing inventory machines - hands-on repair, supervision, ordering parts, and calling for outside service when necessary.
- Machine Inspection Process and Reporting: Implement machine inspection process for condition of machine tools, perform the inspections, and train others to perform the inspections, i.e., spindle runout, axis repeat, etc.
- Inventory Management: Work with and direct staff to ensure all agreed-upon items arrive with machines. Assist and supervise the placement of inventory, hook up to power, and run machines for demonstrations and videos. Photograph machines for advertising purposes. Work with and direct staff to ensure that machines have been properly prepared for shipment before loading and that all items are included when shipped. Travel to locations to inspect machines for valuation/purchase purposes and prep machines for shipment.
- Inventory Admin: Learn our Used Machines software to build machines in the system. Develop technically accurate descriptions, create bills of lading, attach pictures, track and direct the necessary work for our inventory items (parts, repair work, cleaning, etc.).
- Auction Lotting & Administration: Enter machines and small items into the Used Machines software for auction lotting purposes. Assist with lotting and learn to direct auction lotting.
- Auction Checkout: Assist in removing items from auction sites, including some machine prep and electrical and air disconnect. Make sure customers receive all purchased items.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an industrial maintenance role - experience with troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Formal training in electrical systems - mechatronics, electro-mechanical, automation, robotics, industrial maintenance
- Ability to get things done - identify, manage, and complete a large variety of tasks, projects, and timelines efficiently; strong prioritization skills
- Comfortable working alone and with peers.
- Ability to organize work and respectfully direct the work of others.
- Strong customer service skills – internal and external customers
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Strong computer skills
- Forklift experience helpful – but willing to train
