Job Description
The HR Assistant position is responsible for assisting with all Human Resources matters and employee benefits of Professional Arts Pharmacy and its related companies.
Responsibilities And Duties
Assist with the new hire, employee transfer, and termination processes, including the creation and maintenance of all electronic and physical personnel and medical files for the Company, payment of employee uniforms, and assisting with all pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
Assist with the maintenance and implementation of all employee health, retirement, time off, and other benefits, including the review and payment of benefits bills.
Assist with recruiting and onboarding of new hires including E-Verify and reporting new hires/terminations to state.
Assist with license verification and tracking as needed.
Provide overall support for Human Resources.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Must be proficient in Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Previous experience in Human Resources environment and with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) software.
Basic understanding of human resources practices, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance with HR laws and regulations.
