Overview and Essential Functions Pro-Tel is looking for Central Office Installation Technician in the Greater Northeastern Region.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will have experience working within the Central Office, however, on the job training is offered.

Regional travel is required on a weekly basis, company Van / Truck provided to all Lead Level 4 technicians. Job Tasks : Level 1 Installer Entry Level, on the job training offered.

Level 2 Installer (minimum two years of experience) Capable of performing passive equipment installation of ironwork, cabling wiring connecting and equipment designations.

Level 3 Installer (minimum three years of experience) Capable of successfully performing cable running, forming stitching and crimping for power.

Knowledge in reading / understanding design specification, updating red-line / as-built drawings and method of procedure (MOP) preparations.

Level 4 Lead Installer (minimum six years of experience) Capable of successfully performing live DC Power Transition, Installation, Test and Turn up of BDFB’s, Rectifiers, DC Power Plants.
