A leading wholesale distributor in Owings Mills, MD seeking a Marketing Generalist to join their team for an immediate opportunity. The ideal Marketing Generalist will collaborate and work very closely across all departments and possess an “ego at the door" attitude.
This is a direct-hire position, and applicants must reside locally and come into the office Monday through Friday.
Marketing Generalist Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain product catalogs.
- Assist Sales Executives on Sales and Marketing plans.
- Manage and grow social media presence (Facebook).
- Maintain company website.
- Assist with advertising promotions, videos, and marketing posters.
- Work closely with other departments for internal marketing efforts and campaigns.
- Facilitate and manage event planning.
- Serve as liaison between vendors/customers and team.
- Develop and execute company communications.
- Support with miscellaneous administrative functions.
Marketing Generalist Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of work experience as a Marketing Generalist.
- Proven track record of increasing sales by running successful marketing promotions and campaigns from conception to delivery.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Experience working for a wholesaler, specifically in flooring, is highly desired.
- Natural eye for design and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and CRM’s.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills are required.
- Ability to work with various personalities and flexible in nature.
