YOUR ROLEThe Corporate Talent Acquisition & Development Specialist is an active member of Human Resources Team who is responsible for planning and execution of full-cycle recruiting, sourcing passive and active candidates, assisting with succession planning and career pathing, ensuring Progressive AE has a compelling employee brand, and working with leaders to forecast, hire, and onboard team members.In addition, this role develops and supports educational opportunities, both internal and external to the organization. This position collaborates with others to build out the platforms and technology that enables the execution of strategy and connection with stakeholders and team members to build, develop and engage in continuous learning and development. This position requires energy and innovation in approach, analysis and application of new techniques and models to inform our work and keep it current. You are creative, take the time to understand others, and intentionally drive for results to provide exceptional customer focus to employees and leaders to ensure Progressive AE attracts, engages, and retains the best and brightest employees with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion.WHAT YOU WILL DO:RecruitmentDevelop effective recruiting plans and strategies for reaching candidates for each of our discipline areas. Establish recruiting requirements that align to organization plans and objectives; meet with managers/leaders to discuss and understand their recruitment needs. Collaborate with Marketing & Communications to create a sourcing and branding strategy to attract talent. Research current means and methods that are successful in recruiting talent in our market. Coordinate, organize and execute college recruitment program, career fair activities, job shadow days, community outreach and DEI initiatives and focus for talent and pipeline.Responsible for interviews, team scheduling, materials and incentives, office tours and interaction with candidates.Oversee relocation process as needed.Partner with Benefits/HR Analyst to plan and organize new employee orientation and onboarding schedules.Create and manage intern program, including orientation; scheduling rotations and assignments, monitoring intern job contributions and coordinating long term communication and career plans.Assess industry talent acquisition and retention trends. Complete surveys, such as new employee feedback and focus groups, synthesize information and work with HR Director to develop strategy and action plans.Provide real-time support to HR team members, managers, and leaders throughout key milestones and deliverables of the process.Track and analyze key metrics, make improvements to streamline and enhance the employee and manager experience.Utilize and continue to implement software applications such as applicant tracking system, social media, and others in support of recruiting objectives.DevelopmentIdentify and assess training needs of staff by conferring with managers and supervisors.Create and develop learning courses in LMS systemDeliver training content via various media: in-person, web or video conference technology and self-training materials.Partner with state agencies for grant-approved new employee and incumbent training and development.Support internal and external learning initiativesGeneralDevelop material and present at companywide meetingsCreate content for HR newslettersSupport HR calendar and process documentationDevelop communication tools to enhance company’s Employer Brand and the Employee ExperiencePromote employee opportunities and resources through company Intranet and HRIS (Ceridian Dayforce)WHO YOU AREOur Human Resources team champions our culture while working to attract talent and retain the best people. Experience in a multiple office firm environment preferred.5 years in supporting Talent Identification and Development strategies, Implementation of technology to support tasks and initiativesKnowledge:Understanding of Talent Identification frameworksKnowledge of strategies to build diverse and inclusive pipelinesDeveloping and executing a measurement strategyKnowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations regarding hiring and employment including Affirmative Action, EEO, and OFCCP.Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other position related technology.Skills:Project planningRelationship building across levels and functionsCommunicate effectively and work collaboratively across mediums and with diverse audiences, Effective in ambiguous environments; seeks clarity when needed and ability to be nimble when faced with incomplete or conflicting data or solutions Proactive and efficient follow up skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while handling multiple priorities simultaneously Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook required.
