Attentive Home Health in Stow Ohio is a growing home care agency in need of a Business Development Coordinator.
Attentive's mission is to provide professional, dignified, and high quality care to individuals in their home with the goal of extending and improving their lives and their comfort.
The Business Development Coordinator is responsible for marketing and sales as well as company growth.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Baccalaureate degree in Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations is preferred
· One year of experience in sales or marketing required; experience in a health-related field preferred
· Experience in working with professional and non-professional personnel and community representatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Analyze the potential of the Agency’s service area to determine target markets.
· Identify available market share.
· Analyze the Agency’s internal organization to determine its strengths and weaknesses.
· Complete an analysis of the Agency’s services and competitive edge.
· Analyze Client/Agency relationships.
· Develops sales/marketing objectives and sales projections.
· Develops a marketing plan at a minimum of every quarter, identifies priorities and a reasonable timeline.
· Implements marketing plan within the established timeline.
· Reviews and evaluates the analyses and plan on an established timetable.
· Builds relationships with representatives of health care providers treating clients in need of home health care.
· Promotes the Agency’s services to health care providers.
· Act as a liaison between the Agency and other health care providers.
· Communicate Agency’s needs of other health care providers to the administrator.
· Develop and implement a marketing plan within the marketing budget.
· Research and obtain appropriate marketing methods.
· Come in to work in clean, neat attire and consistently present a professional appearance.
· Come to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrate dependability and punctuality.
· Assume accountability of data contained in the employees’ handbook.
· Perform all duties assigned in an effective, cooperative, timely and professional manner.
· Observe infection control procedures.
· Follow Resident’s Rights policies and procedures.
· Observe all Agency policies and procedures.
· Perform other related duties as directed by his/her supervisor.
· Assume Quality Assurance duties as assigned.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
· Must have a car with required insurance coverage and a valid state driver’s license or reliable transportation.
FUNCTIONAL ABILITIES
· Able to professionally communicate verbally and in writing to the extent required by the position.
· Able to physically perform the duties required by the position.
· Able to travel to locations for marketing opportunities within the service area.
