We are looking for a Pregnancy and Postpartum Coach to join the member services team here at Progyny. Our ideal Pregnancy and Postpartum Coach is a proactive person, with excellent communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude, having up to date, current knowledge of women's health standards, this includes extensive knowledge of pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum's normal stages as well as the potential high-risk complications.

The patient is at the center of everything we do-what you do will matter as you educate and support them through their pregnancy, delivery and postpartum.

Must be willing to work 12p -9pm shift ET

What you'll do...

Own the Progyny member relationship for specific clients that offer the Progyny Pregnancy and Postpartum Program by provid ing scheduled monthly outreaches as well as ongoing concierge clinical education and support as needed.

Effectively provide education and support to members through their pregnancy, delivery, and / or postpartum experience.

Provide information on normal pregnancy situations as well as the high-risk complications that could arise.

Appropriately be able to determine when member needs to be escalated to their provider for further assessment and treatment.

Possess empathy to care for and support members through less-than-ideal situations .

Be able to efficiently multi-task member calls and emails.

Provide additional resources to members as needed and be able to determine the appropriate materials to send to member based on their personal journey.

Stay up to date with recent evidence-based research for pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum topics.

About you...

Prior Labor and Delivery experience as a Registered Nurse or Doula experience -minimum of 1 year experience required .

D riven to provide care for our pregnant and postpartum members via telephone and email in order to establish rapport and earn trust with them during this special time of their lives.

Ability to communicate accurately and concisely.

Effectively collaborate with others in a fast-paced business environment

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills .

Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment.

Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Action oriented and motivated by results.

In compliance with New York City's Wage Transparency Law, the annual salary wage range for NYC-based applicants is : $65,000 - $85,000.

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought / required .

Progyny offers a total compensation package comprised of base salary, cash bonus, and equity .
