Schedule Details: Generally 8:00 - 4:30 with occasional early morning or late afternoon meetings. Weekends are based upon support needs of departments. This is a work from home position but onsite work at various PHC locations will occasionally be required in order to provide support.

What You Will Do:
The Informatics Analyst promotes the understanding, integration, and application of information technology in healthcare settings. Acting as a liaison between operations and the IT department, they are responsible for aligning operational process with system design by allocating significant time with end users to understand workflows impacted by use of information technology, assisting to achieve targeted best practice outcomes and optimization goals. A focus for the Informatics Analyst is on the analysis, testing, implementation, and support activities for their designated departments and users. They need to maintain a link to assigned end users to ensure the information systems further the enterprise’s goal of excellent patient care and supports quality initiatives.
The Informatics Analyst will work with other analysts to develop an integrated electronic medical record that supports the vision of “One Patient. One Record.” They will ensure adherence to the Epic Model system while working with clinical departments, operations, independent practices, subject matter experts, champions, and super users to resolve issues and work toward a common goal. The Informatics Analyst will be the primary support contact for the assigned areas to discuss technology needs and triage appropriately.
What you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field required. Master's Degree preferred.
- At least 2 years of related experience in clinical work.
- Clinical experience required, RN experience preferred.
- Experience in public speaking and teaching/training.
- Experience with electronic medical records required, Epic experience preferred.
- Epic Certification(s) preferred.
- Proficient in use of MS Office products.
