We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to lead the quantitative research efforts for the strategy team. The Data Analyst will collect and analyze data to identify trends and provide clients and the firm with valuable information they can use to improve business practices. Reporting to the VP of Strategic Planning, this individual will work closely with the strategy team to help articulate direction during the initial phases of the strategic growth plan process.

- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to understand the client data needs
- Develop and implement advanced data analysis, analytics, and solutions that support the client needs
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends, patterns, and correlations in complex data sets
- Gather data and analyze the results using statistical techniques and advanced analytics tools; interpret results in a way that can be easily understood
- Use tools and techniques to organize and visualize data in easy-to-understand formats, such as diagrams, graphs, and mapping
- Prepare reports and present them to internal teams or clients
- Identify and recommend new business strategies based on data and research
Requirements
- B.S./B.A. degree required
- 2 years of technical experience with data models, data analysis, and segmentation techniques
- Industry experience in management consulting, media, marketing, or branding is highly preferred
- In-depth knowledge of statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information to make accurate conclusions and predictions
- Working knowledge of relevant business intelligence tools and databases
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present findings with shareholders
- Familiarity with basic microeconomic theory and its implications for clients is preferred
- Experienced or comfortable engaging with the non-profit or faith-based market segments is a plus
