What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Lift Packers position at Proman Staffing?
Proman Staffing of Shelby, NC is currently looking for Packers on all shifts in the Cherryville, NC area. Ideal candidates will have prior manufacturing experience. Responsible for packing Styrofoam materials. Involves bending, stooping, repetitive motion.
Job Summary
- Pay Rate $15.00
- 1st shift 6am-2pm
- 2nd shift 2pm-10pm
- 3rd shift 10pm-6am
*must be available for overtime
Responsibilities:
Inspect parts according to work instruction
- Pack parts according to work instruction
- Load items into containers and label parts
- Quarantine questionable product
- Scrap nonconforming product
- Perform final inspection for defective items
Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to stand, squat, bend, kneel through the duration of shift
- Must be available to work overtime
Very hot environment. NO SMOKING FACILITY!
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution required
