Maintenance Technician w / electrical experience needed for well-established company in Lebanon, Tn.The maintenance technician will set-up, adjust, repair, and maintain assigned machinery and mechanical equipment with responsibility for production and quality on this equipment.
Requires 440V Electrical Experience, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Schematics, OR PLCS (1 year) Hours / Pay : Mon-Fri 6am-2 : 30pmStarting at $27 / hr - based on experience$1 hourly bonus paid weekly for perfect attendanceQUALIFICATION / KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE : One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and / or training;

- Analyzes mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and takes corrective action.
- Performs preventative maintenance, makes necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.
- Reviews production schedule and when equipment is not scheduled for production, changes over equipment to new sizes or performs scheduled maintenance.
- Tests equipment to check operation. Clears jams and sets aside product for inspection and rework. Tries out equipment after repairs, changeovers or extended downtime.
- Uses knowledge of electric motors, resistant welders, transformers, ARC welding, air compressors, air cylinders, air control valves and regulators.
- Uses knowledge of clutches, bearings, brakes, gears, cams, pulleys, etc.
- Uses knowledge of gas burners, regulators, and burner controls.
- Uses knowledge of steam generators, steam controls, regulators, and heat exchangers.
- Responsible for conducting all works in a safe, clean and orderly manner.
- May perform other duties as requested.
- May participate on project teams as requested.
- Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license required.
