PROMAN staffing has partnered with our manufacturing client in south east Kansas to find a forward thinking; attention to detail Quality Control Manager.
This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity!
Quality Control Manager Responsibilities:.
- Lead, direct and develop a team of Quality Control Technicians.
- Ensure the organization’s Quality Management System conforms to customer, internal, and ISO 9001 QMS requirements.
- Assist in the development and documentation of manufacturing and inspection, processes, procedures, and control plans.
- Manage inspection gages, (qualify, calibrate, maintain, assemble for jobs, etc.)
- Provide inspection services, (incoming material, in process, subcontracted and final).
- Participate in new business quoting, design review, and quality planning meetings.
- Communicate directly with customers and suppliers as needed for Quality related matters.
- Assist in providing CNC Machinist training on proper use of inspection equipment, gages, etc..
- Advise on equipment upgrades and maintenance needs.
- Satisfy customer reporting requirements regarding quality. (PPAP, FAI Documentation, records, etc.)
Quality Control Manager Education & Requirements:
- GED or High school diploma
- Quality Control Inspection minimum 3 Years required
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and/or 5S principles experience preferred
- ISO 9001 QMS - 3 years’ experience required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
