Job brief

PromoCentric is looking to hire a dedicated Facilities Manager to join our growing team.  In Spring 2022 PromoCentric will complete a large building renovation, it will be the responsibility of the Facilities Manager to maintain the facilities and common area in the best possible condition.

 

Responsibilities

  • Performing routine maintenance around the building including but not limited to:
    • Machine maintenance and repair
    • Routine maintenance on equipment and building systems
    • Making or installing new furniture or equipment
  • Performing general maintenance tasks for the building or buildings including but not limited to:
    • Drywall repair and plastering
    • Carpentry
    • Flooring repair
    • Painting when old paint has become faded or chipped
  • Responding to and completing tenant or supervisor maintenance requests
  • Maintaining maintenance logs for all equipment
  • Collecting and baling cardboard
  • Performing cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping, window washing, etc.
  • Detecting, identifying, and repairing building issues including but not limited to:
    • Basic problems with the building's electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems Maintaining the building HVAC equipment
  • Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
  • Snow removal; plowing and shoveling
  • Lawncare and landscaping
  • Collecting trash/cardboard etc.
  • Pest control
  • Maintaining records of all maintenance
  • IT/Computer installations
