Job brief

PromoCentric is looking for a motivated Sales Professional who enjoys prospecting, winning new clients and managing customer relationships. The objective of this position is to train and coach the candidate to the point where he or she is ready to become an Account Executive. As an Account Executive the seller is responsible for managing the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing the deal. Although there is no predetermined timeframe for this to occur, it could be after 6-12 months or more depending on the individual. This will be done in a three-step process. Phase 1 providing training on our systems and in our industry. Phase 2 performing sales support activities for our existing Account Executives. This includes customer communication, quoting and proposals, samples, orders and issue resolution. Phase 3 will include building their own book of business and working on prospecting and pipeline building.

Competencies

· Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Window and Office (especially Word, Excel & Outlook)

· Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail

· Ability to remain cool under pressure in a fast-paced environment

· Professional, friendly, polite interaction with Account Managers, Suppliers and Clients

· Excellent communication/presentation skills and the ability to build relationships

Desired Skills and Experience:

· BS or BA in Business Administration, Sales or Marketing

· 2-3 Years of Sales Experience

· Experience with New Business Development Activities

Compensation:

· $40-$50k base salary commission (based on experience)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
