The Promontory Spa team is seeking a qualified and passionate Spa Receptionist to join our team. In this position you will be responsible for providing excellent and efficient guest services in opening and closing the Spa, communicating appointments with members and service providers, promoting Spa offerings, and completing Spa duties. You must have the ability to multi-task while fulfilling job duties in a timely manner. The Promontory Spa Employee provides exceptional service to our members with the highest level of professionalism. Spa hours: 9:30am-6:30pm

Responsibilities:
- Ability to greet and welcome members with a friendly disposition
- Serve as a point person for Spa Director; fulfilling the needs of the Spa
- Navigate the schedule and confirm appointments via email and phone
- Handle payments and transactions
- Be understanding and respond to member needs in a professional and timely manner
- Assist members with retail products and menu items
- Organize and maintain Spa in a clean and tidy manner
- Submit necessary work orders
- Assist with product inventory
- Unload orders, packages, and assist in the organization of these items
- Communicate with staff members on schedule and Spa operations
- Assist in the development and organization of office operations and procedures
- Assist in training process for new hires
Essential Functions & Qualifications:
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Customer oriented and able to communicate effectively with members, co-workers, and management
- Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures
- Be present, supporting the needs of the spa during the scheduled shifts
- Ability to work long shifts, weekends and holidays
- Punctual and reliable
- Attention to detail and problem-solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Team player with co-workers and in helping with spa duties
- Must be willing to attend mandatory trainings and help with special events

Educational Requirements and Certifications: High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred; must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.
Previous Experience Required: Two (2) years related experience in a high-profile customer service position; must have excellent customer service and communication skills; basic computer skills and competency in the following, Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Physical Requirements: Requires extensive use of hands, physical dexterity, and small object manipulation; must be able to stand and sit for long periods of time; must be able to work with arms at shoulder level for extended periods of time; must be willing to work various hours, nights, holidays and weekends when needed.
