Farmers Market Driver

Proof Bread, Llc in Mesa, AZ is looking for a friendly face to drive our vehicles and represent our brand at farmers markets around the Phoenix metro area, as well as Flagstaff. We're looking for people who want to work every week consistently, primarily on the weekends, as well as those who would want to sub in occasionally. Our ideal candidate is confident driving larger vehicles (CDL not required).

Duties for truck driver include, but not limited to:

*Loading, transporting, and unloading supplies to markets around the valley and up north to Flagstaff *Beginning market drop off routes as early as 3am on Saturday and Sunday

Duties for van driver include, but not limited to:

*Loading, transporting, and unloading supplies to markets around the valley and potentially up north to Flagstaff *Providing superior friendly, knowledgeable, and quality customer service at markets *Utilizing a Shopify POS system to ring up orders and cash handling *Sanitarily packaging pastry and bread to order *Setting up and maintaining an aesthetically pleasing market table display *Communicating relevant information to Market Manager within a reasonable time *Reporting daily sales and paying market fees on behalf of the company *Communicating product and business information with customers as necessary *Closing down market display for pickup and cleaning up *Safely handling valuable items and returning them to the bakery if necessary

Applicants must:

*be comfortable driving large vehicles; *work outdoors with unregulated temperatures; *be familiar with and able to represent our brand positively; *be able to handle a high-volume sales environment while maintaining all protocols; *employ proper food safety procedures; *stand for up to 6 hours; *lift up to 50lbs from the ground to waist height; *extend work day to complete necessary tasks as needed; *thrive in a fast-paced environment; *demonstrate effective teamwork and communication skills; *solve problems, ask questions, and communicate efficiently with other team members and management

Position Specifics:

*Seeking a full-time truck driver as well as part-time contractors *Compensation depending on experience and role

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation depends on your experience.
