What are the responsibilities and job description for the Audio Visual Technician position at Propel Tech & Electric?
Looking to add experienced A/V technician to our team to assist and eventually lead school work that we have contracted through 2023 at this point. This is a 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) postion with possible weekends if necessary. Work includes the following:
- Running speaker wire
- Running Cat6 wire
- Demolition of existing A/V equipment
- Cutting in ceiling tile and installting new speakers
- Mounting interactive flat panels up to 120lbs
- Installing cameras
- Installing amplifiers
Perfect candidate will have 3-4 years experience doing the above and preferable experience leading a team. Must be a go getter and able to take direction and run with it and not be micro managed. Must have basic hand tools and knowledge of larger equipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 - $22.00 per hour
