Leasing Agent (Part-Time)

We’re looking for someone who gets excited about the thought of matching an individual with their perfect apartment.

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a part time Leasing Agent. As a Leasing Agent, you will be responsible for assisting prospective tenants with finding and leasing residential properties. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the real estate industry and help individuals find their ideal homes.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants
- Assist with the leasing process, including preparing lease agreements and obtaining necessary signatures
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and addressing tenant concerns
- Upsell additional amenities or services to prospective tenants to maximize revenue
- Maintain accurate and organized files for each property, including lease agreements, tenant information, and maintenance requests
- Perform data entry tasks to update tenant information and track leasing activities
- Familiarize yourself with local housing programs such as Section 8 and LIHTC to assist eligible tenants
- Resolve conflicts or disputes between tenants in a professional and diplomatic manner
- Collaborate with property management team to ensure smooth move-ins and move-outs
- Stay up-to-date with relevant real estate laws and regulations

Skills:
- Strong sales skills with the ability to effectively upsell additional services or amenities
- Knowledge of real estate administrative processes, including lease agreements and tenant applications
- Proficient in data entry and record keeping
- Excellent conflict management skills to handle tenant disputes or concerns
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with tenants, colleagues, and vendors
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records
- Basic understanding of fair housing laws and regulations
