Clinical Behavioral Specialist - Adult Population
Serves as a state-operated center offering services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The center is known for providing a range of support services, including residential care and vocational training, tailored to meet the unique needs of those under its care.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, addressing activities of daily living and personal hygiene
- Implement behavior support plans and strategies, collaborating with behavioral specialists to address challenging behaviors in accordance with the provided protocols
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions, behaviors, and interventions
- Use restraint and de-escalation techniques when necessary
Qualifications:
- Must have prior Direct Care or Mental Health experience, or experience with ADLs
- Should be at ease with restraint and de-escalation procedures
- Demonstrated empathy and patience in working with individuals with behavioral challenges
