Job Summary
As a Content Marketing Manager, you will lead our Content Marketing team in developing strategies to provide engaging content to attract and retain customers. Your main responsibilities will include developing and managing schedules and timelines, producing unique and impactful content for all lines of business, and leading a world-class team of writers and designers of staff and contractors to hit our business goals. You will leverage data and insights to produce a strong library of interactive content pieces by reviewing the impact of the content across various channels and working with the sales teams to design content that resonates with our industries. You will be reporting to VP of Brand & Content Marketing.
Responsibilities:
Develop a content strategy in conjunction with demand generation- Undertake content marketing initiatives to achieve business targets
- Develop and maintain up-to-date marketing/promotions/advertising calendar
- Review, edit and possibly create emails and landing pages for marketing promotions
- Manage, create and post blogs each month
- Review, edit and improve content through various channels, ensuring strong web presence
- Collaborate with design and writing teams to produce high quality content
- Ensure consistent brand image and messaging across all marketing collateral and activities
- Optimize content considering SEO and Google Analytics
- Webinar program planning and production which may include slideshow presentations, podcast, videos and blog posts, as needed
- Analyze marketing content and campaign metrics
- Manage and contribute to assigned projects with minimal supervision
Abilities:
Must be results driven, proactive and self- motivated- Must be able to work both independently and within a group environment
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Must have the ability to populate online systems such as websites, blogs, social media and emerging media tools
Requirements:
BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English- 5 years’ experience in content creation in a B2B setting
- 3-5 years’ experience managing a marketing team
- Experience in Marketo a plus
- Experience in WordPress and WYSIWIG editors a plus
- Word, PowerPoint experience required
- Prior managerial experience
