The HR Business Partner is a critical leadership role within the Human Resources & Recruiting organization. Serving on a global basis, you will establish yourself as a trusted advisor by providing expert guidance, developing solutions, building rapport, and understanding team and business challenges.
The HR Business Partner is responsible for proactively shaping the organization, while owning and delivering key deliverables. You will continuously assess organizational needs, create repeatable and scalable solutions, developand iterate on process and systems, and provide coaching where needed.
Over the next 12 – 18 months you will contribute to the development of core initiatives, systems and processes. Areas of impact will include leadingUS and global compliance, including developing and implementing compliance training, overseeing performance management, contributing to employee development, supporting organization structure development, and strengthening core policies, processes and procedures.
This position offers an opportunity for an HR generalist to develop global scope and subject matter depth. The successful candidate will be able to proactively identify challenges and solutions, work to a high degree of detail orientation, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment. The role manages and partners with our Global HR Administrator interacts with our company leadership team and reports into the Chief People Officer. \n- Lead US and global compliance efforts, including the development and refinement of systems, policies, and procedures, including identification and implementation of required training.
- Lead full-cycle Performance Management, including overseeing the annual and mid-year review cycles, to encompass training and awareness building.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of organisational design and talent competency models
- Collaborate on development and maintenance of global policies and procedures, including management of Global Handbook.
- Contribute to the management of HR systems, including HRIS/ADP, Performance Management, internal documentation systems.
- Coach and assist Managers regarding employee performance and employee relations situations, developing and implementing solutions around same.
- Partner with the Global Director, Compensation and Benefits to support compensation, benefits, and total reward initiatives.
- Partner with the broader HR and Recruiting team to support learning & development and training
- Serve as the point of contact for employees when navigating challenging personal or professional issues that impact their work experience.
- Work directly with Company leadership, Legal and HR / Recruiting team to execute against company and HR initiatives.
- Proactively assess organizational needs and opportunities and complete ad-hoc projects, reporting and tasks as required.
- HR exposure/experience in multiple aspects of HR including performance management, employee relations, employee learning and development, and employment law.
- Extensive knowledge of US compliance, programs, policies, procedures, and applicable legislation. Knowledge of key region / global compliance requirements a plus.
- Ability to connect and develop trust quickly with all levels within an organization, partnering with Leadership Team members to anticipate, identify and resolve situations
- Experience managing and leading mid-year and annual performance management processes: including creating employee materials; hosting employee training, testing to ensure employee engagement is supported, responding to employee queries, resolving issues, and building financial models to support end-to-end performance management data analysis
- Proven ability to build, develop and implement creative and effective human resource programs for global enterprise technology organizations
- Strong analytical skills with experience conducting surveys and analyzing data
- Excellent project management, organisation, time management and verbal and written communication skills
- Strong process expertise, including, but not limited to, managing administration for employee requests, liaising with Director, Compensation & Benefits, finance / payroll
- Ability to work with a very high level of confidentiality and discretion
- Proactive and strategic problem-solving skills combined with hands-on operational ownership.
- Outstanding judgment, critical thinking and data analytic skills
- Comfort with high level of ambiguity and ability to adapt to frequent change and growth opportunities.
- Ability to identify gaps and deploy impactful people strategies that enable the organization to perform effectively, and scale efficiently as it grows.
- Basic understanding of global employee support and engagement trends
- Bachelor's degree in human resources management, finance, business administration, or a related field, or professional qualifications
- 5 years of experience in human resources, or in a related role, with a foundation in generalist experience. At least 1 year of Business Partner experience preferred.
- Experience leading performance management in relevant performance management and Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
- Experience with 15 Five and ADP WFN a plus
- Experience working with a fast-paced growing company a plus
