Patient Services Specialist - Portland Metro Area

**Description** The Patient Services Specialist (PSS) is the first point of contact to patients or visitors in person or by phone. This position plays a key role in maintaining a high level of patient satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service. These positions are located at various clinics across Providence Medical Group in the Portland Metro Area (Multnomah, Clackamas, Washington, and Yamhill Counties). You will have a choice of either a home clinic or to be part of our staffing resource pool and float between many clinics in the metro area. $1,500 Sign-on Bonus for eligible rehire and external candidates who meet all conditions for payment - this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment. **Required Qualifications:** 1 year of customer service experience, or Successful completion of Providence internship **Preferred Qualifications:** 1 year of medical office or health care experience. Basic experience with electronic medical records and/or computerized billing systems. Medical terminology experience.
