Providence Health Plan is calling an Actuarial Analyst, Commercial Pricing who will:
- Perform technical analysis and collaborate with peers and management to help Actuarial department and Providence Health Plan to meet the market and financial goals
- Support the financial performance review of all commercial line of business as well as setting rates
- Assist in the rate setting and rate filing efforts, which includes competitive analysis, network analysis, risk adjustment, trend, actuarial benefit value analysis, rate adequacy review, product pricing and more
Providence is welcoming 100% remote work from anywhere within the United States with the exception of the below listed states:
- Colorado
- Hawaii
- Massachusetts
- New York
- Ohio
- Pennsylvania
Required qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Finance, or another related field of study
- Successful completion of 1 exams of the Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation
- 2 years of experience in a finance, actuarial, actuarial internship, or alike role
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- 2 years of Experience in health insurance
