Providence is calling a Virtual RN to work remotely within our footprint states: AK, CA, MT, OR, TX and/or WA.

This posting is for multiple openings of a Virtual RN who will be monitoring patients located at Providence Centralia Hospital in Centralia, WA.

We have .9 DAY / NIGHT or .6 DAY / NIGHT positions available.

  • Applicants must reside or be willing to relocate to one of the following States: WA, OR, AK MT, CA, NM, TX
  • Applicant must be have a WA state RN License or RN compact license

Healthcare is quickly evolving as technology becomes more common place in our lives and as a result, nursing care is evolving as well. We are seeking a currently experienced acute care team player who embraces technological tools to care for patients remotely from home, using bi-directional video and virtual resources. In this new role, the virtual nurse works closely with the bedside nurse and caregivers as one team. Duties include direct communication with patients (and family) during entire length of stay at an acute care nursing unit to assist the bedside nurse with admissions, patient education, reviewing medications, discharges, coordinating care, etc.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 1 year of Nursing experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • National Certification in area of specialty upon hire, unless otherwise indicated.
