Role Description
Providence Place at the Collegeville Inn is seeking to recruit a dynamic, well rounded Director of Memory Care (Secured Memory Support Program). This candidate will provide caring leadership to our co-workers, deliver an exceptional customer experience, and oversee the daily operations of dementia programming. The Director of Memory Care (Connections Neighborhood) will be a mentor, leader, problem solver and passionate about individuals living with dementia. This position reports to the Executive Director and works closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure quality of care.
Responsibilities Include:
Mentoring and leadership of a team of Resident Life Associates and activities staff
Meeting with and communicating with families regarding resident’s care and services
Learning about the residents’ background to create customized support plans
Oversight of the residents’ activities and dining programs
Providing dementia training to all coworkers
Collaboration with nursing department to ensure residents’ health and wellness.
Requirements:
PA LPN License, Bachelor’s or Associates degree is required
Previous experience with residents living with dementia
Proven management experience
