Providence is calling a Clinical Dietitian (0.4 FTE, 16 hours per week Day Shift) to work at Cardiac Rehabilitation at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA.

The Clinical Dietitian is responsible for the nutritional care of patients, nutrition education, and promotion of nutrition services within the hospital. The Dietitian collaborates with members of the health care team to provide appropriate medical nutrition therapy to inpatients.
In this position you will:
- Perform the key functions of nutrition care according to system policy including nutrition screening, assessments, development of care plan, and follow-up monitoring/reassessment and documentation of all patients
- Develop, implement, and promote quality services based on client expectations and needs
- Effectively apply, participate in or generate research to enhance practice
- Apply knowledge and communicates effectively with others
- Use resources effectively and efficiently in practice
Qualifications:
Required qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or Food and Nutrition Science from an accredited school or Advanced degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or Food and Nutrition Science from an accredited school
- Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RDN) status or eligible by the Commission on Registration of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics (to obtain RDN status within 90 days of hire)
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Certified Dietitian in State of Washington
- One (1) year experience in acute care
- Three (3) months experience in medical charting in acute care or long-term care; schooling may be applied as clinical experience
