What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dosimetrist position at Providence?

Description

Performs treatment planning and weekly patient treatment reviews. Performs quality assurance/quality control measurements on patient treatment parameters including charts, prescriptions, calculations, treatment plans and implants.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree Science

  • Coursework/Training Graduate of AMA approved program in Medical Dosimetry Or equivalent educ/experience

  • Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist

  • Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiation Therapy Or

  • Upon hire: National Certified Medical Dosimetrist - Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as Medical Dosimetrist
