Pharmacy Operations Coordinator

Description

This pharmacy coordinator will have responsibilities that include initiating and maintaining operational and quality reports, reviewing charts, evaluating trends to report out to administration, working with our quality department to understand and evaluate pharmacy initiatives, coordinating patient care by phone and new technologies, documenting workflows for pharmacy care gaps and patient coordination, assisting with our pharmacy student program, assisting with prior authorizations, review charts to extract essential information for reports and for proper patient interactions, and support general pharmacy-related issue resolution under the guidance and direction of Pharmacists.

Required qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Completed coursework in Medical Terminology or Has working knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• California Pharmacy Technician License upon hire.
• 2 years Pharmacy technician experience.

Preferred qualifications:

• EMR or IDX experience.
