What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Control Specialist position at Prysmian?

Overview:
Manages the overall returnable reel inventory in North America consisting of roughly 90 standard reel sizes/specs. Work encompasses 9 third party reel depots and 10 manufacturing plants.
Key Tasks:
- Coordinate activities with procurement, sales and finance to resolve customer issues, credits, invoices and disputes related to returnable reels.
- Respond to inquiries from customer service reps pertaining to returnable reels.
- Review and process credits for deposits charged on returnable reels aligning with reels policy and specific customer contracts.
- Maintain reels allocation/disposition in HFA reel tracking system and newly implemented SAP system.
- Identify and manage appropriate reel inventory and purchase requirements from vendors to meet manufacturing and customer needs.
- Work with transportation team to ensure timely movement of empty reels between reel depots and manufacturing plants.
- Work as liaison between reel depots and plants to ensure appropriate reel repairs and shipment of returnable reels is done in agreed upon timeline and to spec.
- Maintains system settings to ensure correct reels are allocated and accounted for to meet demand.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
- 3 or more years experience in lieu of degree
- Attention to detail, troubleshooting, and customer serv
- SAP experience a plus
