Job Summary
Leading PSE&G OEM, thereby utilizing broad knowledge of the business and field operations, to assist in the development and management of core functions, processes, procedures, technical manuals, and engineering standards. Responsible for oversight of the third-party damages to PSE&G facilities process. Accountable to maintain and improve processes to recover third-party damage costs in the Electric and Gas LOBs. Provides business guidance to PSE&G Administrators on various administrative procedures. Ensures the collaborative development, review and documentation of administrative procedures and corporate guidance link documents. Responsible for maintaining the Asset Management & Planning Business Continuity Plan. At managements requests, leads process improvement sessions, and develops process maps and associated documents.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure the effective implementation of the accident remediation & billing process and how it fits in the overall workflow across gas and electric lines of business
- Work with local Office Administrators / Business Support Specialists to form and sustain an accident remediation & billing process within PSE&G
- Educate/train supervisors and managers on the PSE&G processes and procedures related to accident remediation and billing to ensure strict compliance with internal accounting and cost recovery guidelines
- Provide guidance on PSE&G administrative practices and procedures to PSE&G administrators
- Ability to solve complex problems, identify and close gaps in administrative processes
- Oversee the updates to the Utility OEM core functions, processes, procedures, technical manuals and engineering standards in accordance with established timelines
- Manage the Asset Management and Planning Business Continuity Plan, providing support and oversight to the Business Continuity Coordinators, ensuring the Plan is updated annually, business continuity tests are conducted semi-annually, and other required milestones are met and communicated to the Business Continuity Program Manager in Corporate Security
- Manage two vendors to ensure invoices are paid, POs are tracked and maintained, and contracts are renewed, as neede
Job Specific Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree Business, Finance, Accounting or Engineering or relevant degree
- 6 years relevant work experience
- Broad based business experience and knowledge of PSE&G operations.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement process enhancements and efficiencies
- Maintain and apply working knowledge of PSE&G Administrative Business Practices
- Demonstrated effective problem-solving and decision-making skills, strong planning and organizing skills, must be adaptable and be result-oriented.
- Demonstrated clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to lead, coach and motivate a team
- Demonstrated business acumen and ability to create value
- Internal consulting skills and strong presentation skills
- Skilled in computer applications, including but not limited to MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, SharePoint, and MS Visio
