What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Specialist position at PSFCU?

Core Responsibilities:
1. Involved in daily operation of the Marketing Dept., ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
2. Hands-on involvement in a variety of marketing logistics, including event production through booth
scheduling and shipping, collateral coordination and premium ordering.
3. Involved in conceptual design and graphic implementation of marketing materials.
4. Responsible for managing inventory of in-house premiums and fulfillment of contest prizes.
5. Supports and follows up with internal customers (branches) and vendors, checking the status of jobs
already in progress.
6. Involved in the production of newsletter, direct mail, advertising, and database maintenance.
7. Involved in marketing PSFCU in selected Social Media.
8. Involved in community organizations and events.
9. Copying, typing and filing support.
10. CU promotion at special events (devise ways to maximize promotional benefits, supply ads, premiums
and collateral material, solve logistical issues, participate in events – if applicable, assist in follow up).
11. Community outreach (coordinate contests, health fairs, surveys etc.; solve logistical issues, assist in
follow up)
12. Collateral material production (revising existing product and service publications, concept and
production supervision of new material – as applicable.)
13. Coordinate member events and meetings (coordinating and facilitating functions)
14. Various administrative functions (bill processing, correspondence and writing in English and Polish).
15. Proofreading of various marketing texts (Polish and English).
16. Any other duties or responsibilities, as required or assigned.
Requirements:
- BA in marketing, advertising, graphics design, or related fields
- 5 years of marketing/promotions experience, preferably in financial field.
- Native knowledge of English preferred.
