What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety Trainer position at PSG, LLC?
Assist the Training Manager in the maintenance of training program documents, such as the Training Requirements Matrix, Qualification Standard, Training Implementation Matrix and training procedures
- Interface with regulators and assessors during readiness assessments, and operational readiness reviews, etc.
- Serve as a liaison between Training and other company organizations
- Serve at Point-of-Contract between the Training Function and the Training Points of Contact (TPOCs) for implementing new training requirements.
- Work closely with the Subject Matter Expert (SMEs) and Training Manager in conducting periodic reviews and modification to training materials
- Assist subcontractors identify training requirements for fixed price contracts
- Perform training assessments on all aspects of the training development and implementation
- Provide instruction to a diverse workforce, ranging from senior project management, technical/functional personnel, craft workers, and other personnel including subcontractors
- Confer with management, supervisors and employees to gain knowledge of work activities requiring training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives and technologies
- Conduct field research for updating or developing new courses
- Support the Training Review Committee
- Monitors class registration to ensure the optimum use of instructor resources
- Develop course schedules based on learning management system data, customer feedback and training coordinator requests
- Determine applicability of Lessons Learned to training courses and assist in their flow down to the training materials
- Ensure proper disposition and maintenance of training records
- Assist the Training Manager in coordinating the activities of other senior and junior training specialists
- Serve as main reviewer for subcontractor submittals dealing with identification of training needs and compliance
- Represent client Training on Formation Teams
- Act as Training Manager, as needed
- Develops and implements the Company's training program
- Develops and manages training budget
- Develops policies and procedures to ensure Company and Subcontractor training programs are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Ensure adequate resources are available to conduct all required training at all Company project sites
- Maintain control of ownership of all Company training programs

Pay: $57,971.00 - $61,416.00 per year
