Project Development Associate

Position is fully on-site in Mahwah and is temp-to-hire. Great opportunity for a recent college grad!

Project Development Associate

• Working with individual salespeople to generate and cultivate sales
• Create custom ideas within client budgets
• Work hand in hand with our art staff to originate artwork – bringing client ideas to creation

DOMESTIC and INTERNATIONAL PRODUCTION / CHINA STAFF

Domestic:

• Work with domestic and international production facilities to spec jobs for real time quotes and production
• Communicate verbally and via email with our Domestic production facilities for real time quotes
• Create working timelines
• Artwork must meet factory guidelines
• Meet with domestic suppliers and discuss product ideas

International:

• Work with our China staff – pinpointing raw material to the overall product (i.e. – Baseball Hat – Cotton or Polyester)
• Work with our China staff in creating custom unique products specific to the end user
• Communicate directly with China staff through email and live WeChat
• Provide quotes for sales staff– Landed Duty Paid – utilizing correct HTTS Codes / Tariffs
• Must have knowledge of HTTS codes and tariff within USA and outside of USA
• Work with logistics department shipping multiple ways throughout USA and GLOBAL World
• Standard Ocean / Air Cargo/ DHL / FedEx / UPS

PRESENTATIONS

• Provide PowerPoint deck proposals utilizing art staff, domestic partners and our international factories

EVERYDAY

• Multi-task with ongoing product list
• Fast Pace – Event Driven / quick turn projects.
• Communicate on design, quotes and production.
• Push to expand and gain knowledge on variation of products.
• Must be creative for each client within the realm of their business model.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Mahwah, NJ 07430: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
