GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The Welding and Fabrication Technician position works on a team responsible for the
manufacture/assembly of the Company’s food safety intervention solutions. This position focuses on the sanitary welding, fabrication and assembly of the framework, piping and cabinetry of the Company’s products. *THIS IS A SAFETY-SENSITIVE JOB FOR PURPOSES OF THE ARKANSAS MEDICAL MARIJUANA AMENDMENT*
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position works on a team responsible for the manufacture, assembly and testing of the
- Company’s food safety intervention systems. This duty is performed daily, about 20% of the time.
- This position performs needed welding and fabrication of the cabinetry, framework and piping and system testing prior to shipment to customer sites. This duty is performed daily, about 80% of the time.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on-the-job education in a specific skill area
- Proficiencies in welding of stainless and mechanical areas required. (TIG/GTAW welding)
- Ability to read and understand assembly drawings
- A minimum of one to two years of related experience is desired
