Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Sales Reps, managing pipeline progression, skills development and a path to target.
- Prospect, identify, and cultivate new advertising opportunities within our app and email platforms. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients to achieve and exceed your personal sales target as well as your team’s target.
- Develop strong relationships with businesses that align with PublicSquare values. Understand their marketing objectives and provide tailored advertising solutions to meet their needs.
- Create and maintain a strong sales process, clearly communicating the value proposition and advantages of our advertising platform and community of users. Share process and knowledge with your team to better elevate their process.
- Lead negotiations with clients to secure advertising deals at competitive rates. Work towards closing deals to drive revenue and increase market share.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics. Leverage this knowledge to position PublicSquare as a leading advertising platform for Freedom Loving Americans.
- Collaborate with the marketing and analytics teams to monitor and analyze the performance of advertising campaigns. Use insights to provide clients with data-driven recommendations and optimizations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and account management, to ensure alignment on advertising strategies and offerings.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3 years in sales, preferably with experience in selling advertising space within digital platforms.
- Team Management: Have experience managing a team or sales reps.
- Strong Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and compelling manner.
- Results-Oriented: A goal-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the advertising and media industry, including current trends and best practices.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment, adapting to evolving market needs.
- Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using sales tools, CRM software, and analytics platforms to manage sales processes effectively.
- Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
