We are currently seeking a full-time, on-site, Admissions Processor in our Admissions office. This position involves a range of responsibilities that primarily focus on data entry, application review, and student information management to ensure a seamless and transparent admissions experience. The pay for this position is $16.32/hr.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Entering and processing accurate data entry of admissions applications into Banner and CRM (Slate) systems when ensuring the integrity and security of applicant information.
- Review applications to apply appropriate admissions rubric categories, residency criteria standards, and for admissions decisions.
- Manage student information and guide applications through the admissions process.
- Maintain and update student records, ensure data consistency, and streamline administrative processes.
- Process transcripts, verify prior enrollments, and maintain organized admissions files.
- Communicate critical student application statuses to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED.
- At least 3 years’ experience in higher education or similar customer service capacity and data processing.
- Working knowledge of technologies – MS Office and database/CRM software.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing clearly and concisely.
- Ability to take care of the customers’ needs while following institutional procedures.
- Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task.
- Ability to bring energy to the performance of the task.
- Ability to make decisions or take actions to solve a problem or reach a goal.
- Ability to be dependable and trustworthy.
- Ability to comprehend complex technical topics and specialized information.
Preferred Qualifications:
- An Associates’ degree.
