This is a unique chance to be part of the grand opening team for Pure Barre in Encino, CA. We’re looking for a dynamic, qualified General Manager to hit the ground running to generate sales, build a team, create awareness in the community and set the bar.

The General Manager will oversee all studio functionality from sales and marketing to studio operations.

DUTIES:
- Drive new membership sales
- Manage memberships in studio sales platform
- Proficiency in gym management software and POS to include revenue reports, attendance reports, etc.
- Achieve monthly revenue goals by ensuring the processes for lead generation, membership conversion and member retention are being implemented on a daily basis
- Implement and manage marketing campaigns to generate leads for the studio, including digital, social and grassroots
- Schedule and participate in networking/community events and studio promotions
- Implement sales process to schedule prospects into introductory classes and follow through with membership offers
- Collect outstanding dues
- Supervise Sales Representatives
- Ensure daily lead management goals are met by the Sales team
- Communicate SOP weekly scripts to Sales Representatives monthly and as needed
Operational Duties
- Responsible for Employee Recruiting, Training and Retention
- Review Teacher evaluations
- Oversee class schedules
- Oversee staff schedules
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio
- Ensure all forms, administrative supplies, and studio literature is stocked and visible
- Enforce studio policies and procedures
- Independently make decisions related to high level customer service
- Any other duties as assigned by studio owner
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 years of fitness sales or relevant sales experience preferred
- Previous management or supervisory experience required
- Candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Travel to Irvine, CA for initial training required
- An affinity and passion for fitness and wellness
- Confident in generating personal sales and training Sales Representatives
- Ability to manage and drive multiple revenue streams including memberships and retail sales
- Ability to excel in a fast changing, diverse environment
- Must be solution-based and results oriented, competitive spirit
- Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgement
- Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential information
- Must have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person and over the phone
- Solid writing and grammar skills
- Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Professional, punctual, reliable and neat and organized
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with computers and Studio software
- As we prepare to open the studio, remote work will be required initially with the expectation that this role will be full time in studio once the space is ready for business.
