Experience:
- Minimum 3 years' experience; prefer 5 experience in a manufacturing or service industry
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Proficient in Dynamics Business Central a plus
Job Responsibilities:
- Partner between Accounting/Finance and other specialty teams to manage production costs and inventory pricing
- Develops and implements product cost dashboards and KPl's
- Performs calculations of overhead costs and variance analysis
- Maintain project allocations between Intercompany departments
- Manages Job Cost system and related processes, including recognizing cost of good sold and revenue for Capital Projects
- Analyze results of production jobs by customer and works with Engineering departments to determine if price adjustments are necessary
- Partner with internal departments to analyze cost savings initiatives and calculate payback periods for potential capital projects
- Support month-end closing process by reconciling accounts and performing journal entries, as well as analyzing variances
- Manage and maintain cost standards and bills of material for work-in-process and finished goods
