Job Description
The Quality Engineering Manager is a pivotal role within the Application Engineering & DevOps theme responsible for client’s Quality Engineering & Testing transformation initiatives aligned with application engineering & digital roadmap.
Quality Engineering Manager (QEM) – is responsible to drive Quality Engineering & Testing Transformation for complete client engagement involving large scale S/4HANA implementation and across multiple releases.
QEM will work with customer test champion and other stakeholders responsible for quality across platforms/ products/ interfaces.
Be able to articulately and passionately present quality engineering concepts to senior stakeholders - internal and client, bridge old and new.
Spot opportunities where we can apply QET transformation as a part of current work or by creating new business opportunities.
Work with Wipro testing delivery teams, CoE teams, Business Unit teams and leadership team to plan, govern, measure, and deliver transformation outcomes.
Should be able to think about the solutions that addresses Strategic transformation needs as well as technical requirements.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
You'll be able to demonstrate detailed experience of creating quality engineering and testing transformation roadmaps and strategies for clients at a program, function, or enterprise level.
Over 12-15 years of extensive experience in working with multi-skilled testing teams (Automation, Non-Functional, Digital testing, Test Data, Test Tools, Test Environments etc.) and other roles on a project - Developers, Designers, Scrum Master, DevOps and infrastructure teams, as well as Vendor partners.
Able to work with clients in a consultative way; helping them derive quality objectives from IT objectives aligned with business roadmap.
Introducing modern testing practices aimed at increasing velocity such continuous testing, in-sprint automation, service virtualization, shift-left, early performance testing and new age testing tools aligned with Agile and CI/CD. SAFE, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) would be highly desirable.
Act as a subject matter expert on continuous testing best practices with hands on knowledge to interact with CI/CD, release engineering, infrastructure, cloud, development, compliance tools teams.
Strong understanding (experience is preferred) on TDD, BDD, Agile, Scrum, DevOps, various testing tools (preferably Tricentis product suite – Tosca, DI, OSV, qTest, Neoload, LiveCompare, etc.) and exposure/experience of testing engagements involving S/4HANA implementation is preferred.
Ability to create a framework to measure current baseline, plan future state and lays down the roadmap and plan to achieve goals with milestones associated with business value and cost benefits.
Experience with Test reporting, testing metrics, testing dashboards and benefit/value realizations.
Able to lead multiple test leads and testing teams to achieve transformation as per plan along with their BAU work

Proven ability to build strong relationship across stakeholder groups with the ability to effectively influence and communicate across various business lines and units and at senior levels within the organization.
