Supervisor plays an important role by implementing systems and procedures that have been put in place at Purpose Prep. The role of the Operations Supervisor is critical to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the school.

Responsibilities
Nutrition
- Manage overall school nutrition program, compliance, and related systems, including data preparation, submission of reports and food reimbursement claims to state
- Meet with state officials and school nutrition consultant for inspections and audits
- Ensure meals are distributed daily
- Track scholar related food allergies
Transportation
- Oversee all student arrival and dismissal practices/procedures
- Oversee bus transportation operations, including coordination of routes and route times with transportation vendors, managing all arrival and dismissal times and travel plans and activities, including field trips
- Oversee and lead bus monitor training
- Manage state and federal agency transportation safety compliance measures
- Manage partnerships with after-care facilities participating in route pick-ups and drop-offs, includes communication with parents and facilities
Technology
- Oversee technology operations—repairs, providing staff access to technology, technology inventory management (technology usage form and copy machine supplies), technology ordering, etc.
- Create email log-in credentials for staff
- Manage Slack app communication—procedures/best practices, Slack app access, app channels, etc.
- Ensure staff laptops are within the 3-year warranty cycle
- Ensure staff and scholar laptop and headphone functionality
- Ensure Elmo equipment, projector, and iPad functionality
- Ensure copy machine functionality and monitor copy machine usage
- Provide necessary updates to procedures/best practices
Facility Maintenance
- Meet with city fire officials/inspectors to perform yearly facility inspections and functionality tests, fire systems and extinguishers included
- Engage third-party inspector vendor to perform yearly fire extinguisher inspection
- Implement feedback from officials/inspectors
- Manage HVAC, security system (codes included), custodial service, and lawn maintenance operations
- Provide necessary updates to procedures/best practices
School Supply Management
_ _Oversee schoolwide supply tracking processes and systems—inventory management, student supplies, teacher supplies, snacks and beverages, proper storage of supplies, proper labeling of supplies
_ _Purchase all supply requests
_ _Ensure timeliness of supply ordering and distribution (e.g., snacks for staff)
- Provide necessary updates to procedures/best practices
Daily School Operations
- Serve as main point-of-contact for daily operations-related issues
- Guide Operations Team
- Manage Slack app and staff access
- Supervise and ensure Operations Team members’ prompt response to Slack app messages
_ _Ensure prompt distribution of items required for classrooms
- Manage safety (and disaster) drill strategy and implementation
- Manage all MNPS drill compliance requirements
- Administer and manage trash disposal and recycling services
- Provide necessary updates to procedures/best practices
- Complete other responsibilities as requested by the Head of School/ Operations Manager
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
