What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Policy Contractor position at PVD?
We are seeking a skilled HR Policy Contractor to review and update our existing library of HR policies and procedures for 3 of our office locations in NJ, MA, and Canada. In addition, this individual will be responsible for creating new procedures for our newly opened office in NJ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR policy development and experience working with multiple departments within an organization.
Responsibilities:
- Review and update our current library of HR policies and procedures.
- Create new policies and procedures for a newly opened office, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gather input and feedback on policies and procedures.
- Ensure policies and procedures are communicated effectively to all employees and stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver training on updated and new policies and procedures.
- Monitor policy and procedure compliance and recommend changes, as necessary.
Experience & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
- Proven experience in HR policy development, including experience with policy implementation and training.
- Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to HR policies and procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- An ability to create and modify written policies and procedures.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as an active team player.
- Demonstrated experience understanding Human Resources policies and employment law.
- Exceptional project management skills, with an ability to work on multiple priorities simultaneously.
Job Type: Contract
Salary: Up to $25.00 per hour
