Join a team of 50 Quality Assurance specialists, including 10 Test Managers working with teams from PwC Poland, PwC UK and the WE and CEE regions. As a part of the QA team at PwC, you will have the opportunity to develop and benefit from the extensive experience of experts, as well as to have a real impact on the business goals achieved by PwC clients.
Responsibilities:
You'll work to plan and manage the QA activities aiming to ensure high quality of systems delivered to multiple end markets in a variety of geographies. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Estimate QA effort

Develop QA strategies, scope and objectives

Define test types & stages
-
Define quality gates and quality KPIs
-
Plan, monitor and coordinate testing activities (incl. non-functional testing and test automation activities)
-
Design and monitor development and testing life cycle
-
Manage the production of the required deliverables
-
Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation
-
Set up and manage the execution of the defect management process
-
Ensure process compliance and implementation of process quality improvements
-
Ensure traceability and consistency between the related work products and configuration management items
-
Release management activities, including scoping of the releases, validation of readiness, sign off, release notes preparation
-
Organise and support UAT tests
-
Conduct peer reviews of QA-related activities
-
Conduct internal project quality audits
-
Manage the team within the QA Practice (people & competencies management)
-
QA Practice sales support
-
Lead diverse, and often remote, testing teams
-
Report on progress and status
-
Identify and manage QA-related risks
-
Resolve problems, bottlenecks, identify dependencies
-
Constantly cooperate with delivery team and client
-
Establish effective working relationships directly with clients
-
Manage and respond quickly to changes in a fast-paced environment
Profile:
-
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Test/QA Manager
-
Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
-
Proven track record in projects in an international environment
-
Practical experience in test effort estimates
-
Practical experience in test strategy and tests plans definition (for complex integrated solutions)
-
Experience in QA teams management
-
Experience in managing teams during UAT/E2E testing
-
Very good understanding of software delivery process (agile and waterfall methodologies)
-
Very good understanding of software testing methodology (types of tests, test stages, responsibilities etc.)
-
Practical experience in the use of test management tools e.g. JIRA, Azure DevOps etc.

Practical experience in test cases and test scenarios preparation
-
Being familiar with test automation principles and able to manage test automation scripts design and implementation.

Experience in non-functional testing management

Ability to see tasks through to the end and meet tight deadlines, taking responsibility for their completion and maintaining quality throughout

Confident with working in a fast-paced environment

Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills, verbal and written to both technical and non-technical audiences that are in geographically dispersed environments

Ability to speak and write English fluently

Ability to develop and nurture strong relationships at all levels
