The Job At-A-Glance
The Q2 Contract Specialist carries out the administrative and support functions of the contract operations team within the legal department. This position will provide support and training for the direct, channel and relationship management sales teams. If you're someone that has an eye for details, has strong skills in this area, and enjoys a team oriented and fast-paced environment, you'll likely feel right at home on this team!

A Typical Day
- Required to interact with co-workers, regional sales managers, account managers and executives as well as with clients and prospective clients.
- Enter, maintain and ensure the integrity of contract data within SalesForce and other tracking databases including but not limited to accuracy and timeliness of dates (contract effective, implementation project start and go-live) and opportunity pricing (maintain/update product instances for proposal, contract and cross sale opportunities).
- Create, maintain and update as necessary all miscellaneous contract templates and checklists to account for new pricing, products and/or services offerings.
- Draft sales orders, amendments, SOW’s, and review sales order forms for accuracy.
- Ensure that contracts and proposals are thoroughly reviewed for pricing approvals and accounting issues prior to preparing a final copy for signature.
- Conduct proposal preparation.
- Reply timely to interdepartmental and intradepartmental requests.
- Train new hires on Contract Operations process and assist with Sales on-boarding.
- Create and document contract processes and procedures and communicate changes to the appropriate team members.
- Work independently and with little supervision, managing and documenting work assignments in Salesforce and addressing any concerns/requests by the applicable deadlines.
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience; or equivalent related work experience.
- Must demonstrate ability to easily adapt to change and quickly learn and retain new processes and other contract related information
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Salesforce needed
