JOB SUMMARY
The Energy Markets Manager acts as the subject matter expert on US Wholesale Electric Markets & regulatory landscape. This position is focused on providing detailed requirements for participation in specific ISO/ RTO markets via wholesale market products. The Energy markets manager will lead the research and study of target ISO’s/RTO’s and provide simplified market operations summary to GELI Engineers. The Energy Markets Manager will also keep tabs on high level policy/ standards and regulatory changes that have impact on Renewable industry (Solar PV, Energy Storage) and develop long term strategy. This position will work closely with GELI’s Product management and Data science team while interacting with external stakeholders in Utility scale, C&I, and Resi business teams. This is a high-visibility, high-impact position in a fast-growing team with an opportunity to contribute to overall corporate vision of renewable growth. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with demonstrated success in similar roles previously.
